Nov 11 – Dec 6, 2024
With Venus in Sagittarius right now, the heart yearns to break free. Do you remember what happiness feels like? Change comes quickly now in our relationships. We need proper distance and space to determine the best path forward. One thing is sure, movement is necessary. We cannot stay where we are, nor can we be avoidant. Though Sagittarius hates confrontation, something important needs to be addressed. Take a moment to inhale this fiery courage.
Sagittarius’ fire will soon fade into a predictable rhythm, at least in our professional and social lives. We first need the clarity of Sagittarius so that we can properly root and stabilize with Venus in Capricorn. The sea-goat arrives amid the ashes as a grounding, centering force. Capricorn is thoughtful and pragmatic, unlike his predecessor Sagittarius.
When Venus, planet of interpersonal relations, enters Capricorn, we care more about our status and reputation. This is a great time to update your resume. People want to know: where do I stand? How am I perceived by others? What are my contributions to society and how do they stack up? Consider your social life, work life, and how/where they intersect. It’s time to network, meet new people, and consider new career pathways.
Capricorn, like his ruler Saturn, operates by means of contraction and conservation. The sea-goat is a quiet, serious, generous, loyal, dependable creature. Venus in Capricorn will introduce more structure and routine into our daily lives. Capricorn does not thrive in chaos – at all. Ever. For him, work and play are forever intertwined. Capricorn teaches the value of standards and worthy aspirations. Having said that, the sturdy sea-goat could certainly benefit from being a bit more flexible <3
The sea-goat needs security in order to thrive. Even with a high level of security, Capricorn is forever fearful. A lot of his fear/anxiety gets channeled into worries about money, work, and reputation. Venus in Capricorn can make us feel self-conscious about how we compare in society. If all goes well, i.e. if we can tone down the inner critic, we might just land a sweet new job or discover new opportunities during this transit.
But let go of that tight feeling in your chest first, because it won’t happen if you’re feeling so anxious. Take a deep breath, really deep. You don’t have to suffer in silence, Capricorn. You can be light, liberated. It’s time to focus on what is, not what could be. Be grateful for what you already have, because you have so much.
Nov 15: Super Full Moon in Taurus + Saturn Retrograde ends ✨
Nov 19: Pluto re-enters Aquarius!!! 👽👽👽
Nov 21: Sagittarius Season begins ✨
Nov 25: Mercury Retrograde begins
Dec 2: Venus trine Uranus in Taurus. Restless and indecisive. An exciting and social day, full of learning and connecting, but somehow weird/off. This paradox is very common with Uranian influence as it is always so erratic. Unexpected elements coming your way, especially on the social front.
Dec 6 (last day of transit): Mars Retrograde begins + Mercury Rx square Saturn in Pisces. Not a good day for travel. Have a backup plan for your backup plan.
