The last Super Full Moon in Pisces occurred in Aug 2015. This year’s Supermoon in Pisces is also a blue moon as it is the second full moon in the month of August. Happy Super Blue Full Moon!

The Full Moon in Pisces comes each year in a hazy wave, muddling our vision. Pisces endlessly confuses with misinformation, fantasies, tricks of the mind. She takes us to the edge of insanity.

When you start to sink below, call in the highest vibration of Pisces: authentic yet imaginative; grounded yet spiritual; clearheaded yet dreamy. She is all of these things and more. As the last sign in the zodiac, she is the amalgamation of all. At any moment she can shape-shift into any archetype she pleases.

Here we are, one foot on Virgo’s green earth and the other quickly turning translucent, pulled by an unseen force to the farthest narwhal star in the universe. What is the connection between earth and sky, between mundane and extraordinary?

Virgo stays close to the soil, busy with her schedules and tasks. Pisces glides through bottomless REM cycles into fantasies which take her far, far away from reality. Several years ago I spent this full moon with three other women. We swallowed the diamond sky and slithered naked like mermaids between the boulders of the Yuba River, dazzled by the sun. I laughed until I cried. I sang. I sat high on a bridge above the rocks. I walked barefoot and reveled in it all.
