Scorpio Season 🦂 2024
Oct 22 – Nov 21, 2024
Your sun sign is just one planet in your star soup. Curious about the rest? Contact me for a natal chart reading.
Welcome, weary travelers, welcome to my little cave of starry wisdom.
Pelvis-deep in the zodiac wheel, we creep now into Scorpio’s haunted house. Scorpio is a black widow; a secret; a wolf howling in the cold; a hidden lair. She is Kali, Lilith, Baba Yaga. See her slinking at midnight, burning with desire, hungry for your soul yet fiercely protective of her own; see her intellect, sharp as a moonless night, psychoanalyzing all who cross her path.
This is a dark and serious time. Shit is about to get real, and we need strength and self-discipline. Yes it’s emotional, yes it’s messy, yes it’s chaotic, but only sometimes. Scorpio is also incredibly clarifying and pragmatic after the storm clouds clear. When the mind settles, we can take a closer look at how we expend our energy: sexual, physical, emotional, mental, all of it. Where can we tighten up boundaries to prevent energy seeps? How can we be more self-contained, more powerful?
Scorpio lives in svadhisthana, the sacral chakra. The sacral chakra is emotional and creative in nature. When we transition from Scorpio to Sagittarius, we will ascend from the sacral chakra to the fiery solar plexus chakra, locus of heat and action and impulse.
The flames of Sagittarius arrive on the ashes of Scorpio. The scorpion guides us through netherworld caverns deep in the psyche, holding aloft her flickering magical orb so we can sidestep all the skeletons grasping at our ankles. She takes us here not to cause us pain, but because the answers lie here in deadly silence, like keys at the bottom of a poison lake. We need to experience Scorpio’s chilling depths before we can fly to the centaur’s skies.
Scorpio Season is when we reclaim our power and pause the exhausting balancing act of Libra. Scorpio is “do or die.” Invite tectonic change into your life. Trust your gut. Trust in the witch rising confidently from summer slumber, awakening in your spinal cord. Polish your broomstick, oil the cauldron, light the sacred fire.
power ~ control ~ rebirth ~ metamorphosis ~ reclamation ~ spirit ~ magic
The first day of Scorpio Season (Oct 22) comes on the heels of an intense square between the Sun in Libra and Pluto in Capricorn. This one is intense. Heavy, sleepy vibes. We will be more prone to headaches. Tread lightly. Avoid volatile or aggressive people.
Oct 24: Quarter Moon in Leo 🦁🌗
Nov 1: New Moon in Scorpio 🌑🦂
Nov 4: Sun trine Saturn Retrograde in Pisces. Productive, clearheaded, focused.
Nov 8: Quarter Moon in Aquarius 👽🌓
Nov 15: Super Full Moon in Taurus + Saturn Retrograde ends ✨
Nov 16: Sun opposite Uranus Retrograde in Taurus. Social dysfunction. Don’t count on anything going to plan; unusual or unexpected outcomes. Body rhythms thrown off. Chaos, destruction, overwhelm; roughness and intensity.
Nov 18: Sun trine Neptune Retrograde in Pisces. Ocean vibes, moving fluidly through timespace. Peaceful in a mysterious way; sweet relief. Body and mind tired yet pleased. Neptune can bring strange, inexplicable phenomena or cranky vibes.
Nov 19: Pluto re-enters Aquarius!!! 👽👽👽
