Happy new moon, happy solar eclipse! This total solar eclipse will be visible primarily from North America. The path of totality is passing through northern México and the US, it’s gonna be dope! Click here for more technical info about the eclipse.
An eclipse never comes alone. Solar eclipses arrive two weeks before or after a full moon lunar eclipse. Two weeks before this solar eclipse (Mar 25), we have a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Libra.
I agree with many astrologers that the Spring Equinox is the closest approximation to an astrological “New Year,” and for me so is the New Moon in Aries. Get ready for some fabulous spring / new year magic.
This total solar eclipse is a divine opportunity to initiate whatever we desire. We will forge ahead into the new year with sublime confidence and wisdom. Aries is the magic of birth, creation, fire, adrenaline, springtime, sex, and testosterone. Aries is first, newest, brightest, angriest.
Tectonic plates shift beneath our feet. Something is brewing, crackling. I know you hear it.
Beginnings are not for the faint of heart. To encounter the new is to encounter the unknown. Aries teaches us to act and just fucking do it instead of thinking. The longer we stand there thinking, the less likely we are to act.
It’s time to move and take action. We’ll do it with emotional intelligence. We’ll make a plan, quickly but soundly. We will be perfectly fearless and independent; we will be bold. We will trust ourselves.
What seems most urgent at this time is our own personal happiness – as well as our dignity. Somewhere along the way we forget. We forget what it is to truly enjoy life. And now we fly, gripping the golden fleece of Aries the ram, racing through clouds of smog to the nearest volcano.
What has become so heavy that you can’t bear it anymore? What is longing to come out? Who are you longing to be? What do you need to leave behind in order to be lighter? Take a deep breath, close your eyes. How long can you walk on the coals?
This is the vibe: explosive, volcanic, seismic; then beautiful, refreshing; flowery, fresh morning sun, blood flowing with clarity.
Heads up: this total solar eclipse will form a conjunction to both Chiron & Mercury Retrograde in Aries. Mercury Retrograde will certainly throw curveballs but Chiron will be there to support the healing/emotional journey. We got this <3
Here we go, another trip through the cosmic birth canal. Rise like a mighty phoenix from the depths. Wear warm colors like red to honor the fire element. Focus on the solar plexus in meditation. Build your inner fire with Aries Yoga. To find your personal moon sign, click here.
