How are we holding up in Cancer Season this year babez? Next up: the waxing first quarter moon in Libra. We’ll get to Libra in a moment. First: Cancer the Crab.
Ah Cancer…her waters are magical, though they don’t feel that way at first. In the beginning it’s deep pain…then beauty. It’s time to let go or otherwise accept the reality of something less than fabulous.
The crab represents home and family. Cancer is ruled by the moon. Lunar energy is felt and interpreted by everyone differently. I feel it right in my heart. I feel it in the way my emotions pull me in all directions, like the tide, ebbing and flowing endlessly.
Cancer Season feels like getting ripped open. The crab strikes with sweet, ferocious intensity. But the good news – and I promise – is that she ultimately brings relief and resolution.
So we’re taking a look at home, roots, and family. What do you see? I keep discovering that I’m really just looking for myself. I’m digging in the sand to find Lauren, to be closer to her.
Now Libra, goddess of wind, calls for space. It is time to center ourselves from a distance. Moon phases in Libra speak to our relationships. This usually, but not always, means intimate partnerships. If you’re single, this moon phase is about close friends, roomies, classmates, or co-workers.
Libra is the sign of the scales, representing deliberation, balance, and true love. It is Libra who transforms us from isolated individuals into global family members. Libra strives for peace. In order to get there, however, tough conversations and revealing moments have to happen. What I’m trying to say is that Libra is not always peaceful. Libra is the gritty aspects of social relationships, too; the awkward moments; personality clashes; indirect or passive aggressive communication; emotional control, or lack thereof.
Envision zen vibes, balance, and harmony. We are adults living our own adult lives. We get to choose, WE get to decide. Take in all the information you want from the outside and then YOU choose. It’s time to feel good. It’s time to take care of ourselves. Butterflies and cosmic violets coming your way.
